Il 7 gennaio 2024 si è svolta l’81° Golden Globe Awards, cerimonia che ha premiato il meglio delle produzioni cinematografiche e televisive americane del 2023.
Il film ad aver ottenuto il maggior numero di candidature, ovvero nove, è Barbie, mentre quello ad aver ottenuto il maggior numero di vittorie, ovvero cinque, è Oppenheimer. Per quanto concerne le serie TV, quella ad aver ottenuto il maggior numero di candidature, ossia nove, è Succession, la quale si è anche aggiundicata il maggior numero di premi, ossia quattro.
La cerimonia ha visto anche il debutto di due nuove categorie, ovvero Miglior incasso al botteghino e Miglior comico stand-up.
